Data Security

Two recent issues are making organizations acutely aware of the need to destroy sensitive data on retired computer assets.

The first is the risk that sensitive data on computer systems could fall into the wrong hands. The second is the increasing likelihood of future laws that mandate steps to guard against such a disaster. ROUND2 provides in-facility and on-site solutions for the secure destruction of data storage devices. Our processes meet the DOD 5220.22-M (Department of Defense) standard and the guidelines established by the NAID (National Association for Information Destruction).

ROUND2's trained technicians come to your site and utilize Blancco software to perform a 3 pass or 7 pass overwrite of hard drives over a network, leaving you with both an electronic and hard copy Certificate of Destruction and detailed Disposition Report, listing each asset processed. ROUND2 can then remove the wiped hardware and process it at a facility for either reuse or recycling.

Data Security Maximized

In the event that your enterprise has higher security needs ROUND2 provides on-site physical destruction services

Physical destruction ensures that stored information is inaccessible and the drive cannot be reused. Our portable hard drive crusher plugs into a standard 110-volt outlet and provides an effective means of destroying all disk-drive platters. We can process hundreds of drives per hour allowing your site based security or IT staff to review the destruction process in real time. Crushed drives are then placed into a secure container and delivered to a ROUND2 processing facility for final recovery of non-ferrous metals. A Certificate of Destruction and a detailed Disposition Report is left with the customer after the drives are crushed.

Logistics

Comprehensive and cost-effective logistics solutions to meet any reverse logistics requirement.

ROUND2 contracts with leading logistics providers to ensure secure nationwide transit of your sensitive IT and Telecom assets to ROUND2 for processing. Available options include:

• Pre-Paid UPS Program - ROUND2 provides proper packaging materials to meet the demands of UPS shipments for individual units. Packaging material includes a pre-paid UPS shipping label, and even tape to seal the box. All you have to do is call UPS to arrange a pick-up time that is convenient for you
• Less than truckload (LTL) – Utilized for shipping quantities less than 12 pallets using LTL fleet services, saving you money and storage space
• Full Truckload Quantities – Utilized for shipping quantities in the range of 12 – 24 pallets on locked and sealed trailers shipped directly from your site to a local ROUND2 processing facility
• Specialized pick-up services - Includes lift gate service (if you do not have a standard elevated dock that can be serviced by a trailer), white glove service (for inside moves by contractors), and packaging services
• Canada and Mexico Shipments – Handles required import documentation and management of shipment through Customs
• High Security Shipping - Utilizes one of our secure 3rd party transit solutions
• Rapid Servicing - Process pick-up requests within 48 hours of client initiation

Facilities

In today's market, location is a key decision point in selecting a value-add partner.

ROUND2 understands the need to be a low-cost provider through strategic aggregation and processing facilities. By providing in-region facilities to combat the rising transportation costs, ROUND2 assures the greatest return to our clients. ROUND2 facilities are fully secured and under constant surveillance using digital camera systems. In addition to cameras, ROUND2 utilizes walk-through and wand metal detectors.

ROUND2 records each visitor to our facilities and requires a signed waiver form on each visit, visitor badges, and escort through the processing areas.

ROUND2 tracks each client asset utilizing a unique master job ID. Reporting, Certificates of Recycling, and all Purchase Orders are tied back to the master job ID.
