Round2's staff knows how to safely remove and package these items in an efficient one step process, using various collection bins. Our services include the option for network based data destruction, on site physical destruction of data storage, including hard drives, optical disks, and magnetic media. Our careful de-installation process ensures a higher economic return on the assets recovered.

Round2 contracts with leading logistics providers to ensure secure, nationwide transit of your sensitive IT and Telecom assets to Round2 for processing. Available options include:

• Shipment of individual units using Round2’s pre-paid UPS program. Round2 provides proper packaging materials to meet the demands of UPS shipments, a pre-paid UPS shipping label, and even tape to seal the box. All you have to do is call UPS to arrange a pick-up time that is convenient for you
• Shipment of less than truckload (LTL) quantities (less than 12 pallets) using LTL fleet services, saving you money and storage space
• Shipment of full truckload quantities (12 – 24 pallets) on locked and sealed trailers shipped directly from your site to a local Round2 processing facility
• Specialized pick-up services including lift gate service (if you do not have a standard elevated dock that can be serviced by a trailer), white glove service (for inside moves by contractors), and packaging services
• Shipments from Canada and Mexico requiring import documentation and management of the shipment through Customs

Round2 provides in-facility and on-site solutions for the secure destruction of data storage devices. Our processes meet all DOD (Department of Defense) standards and guidelines established by the NAID (National Association for Information Destruction). Our trained technicians come to your site and utilize Blancco software to perform a 3 pass or 7 pass overwrite of hard drives over a network, leaving you with both an electronic and hard copy Certificate of Destruction and detailed Disposition Report, listing each asset processed. Round2 can then remove the wiped hardware and process it at a facility for either reuse or recycling.

If your enterprise has higher security needs and absolutely requires hard drives to be physically destroyed ensuring stored information is inaccessible and the drive cannot be reused, then Round2 provides on-site physical destruction services. Our portable hard drive crusher plugs into a standard 110 volt outlet and provides an effective means of destroying all disk-drive platters. We can process in excess of 100 drives per hour and allows your site based security or IT staff to review the destruction process in real time. Crushed drives are then placed into a secure container and delivered to a Round2 processing facility for final recovery of non-ferrous metals. A Certificate of Destruction and detailed Disposition Report is left with the customer after the drives are crushed.

Round2 provides environmentally responsible recycling of used batteries, including Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd), Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH), Lithium Ion (Li-ion) and Small Sealed Lead* (Pb). The Health Care Industry is a large quantity generator of batteries and Round2 is dedicated to keeping rechargeable batteries out of our nation’s solid waste stream and preserving natural resources. Round2 provides sealed collection bins for the proper accumulation of batteries from computer back-up units, mobile devices and other types of electronic equipment. Round2 arranges transportation from the client site to an approved Round2 processing center, and arranges for return of collection containers.
